Asbestos In Your Norwalk Or Wilton Business

“Asbestos” is actually a group of six minerals that are made up of millions fibers that can be released into the environment by abrasion and other similar ways.  All six minerals are known to be human carcinogens. It was used in building construction for many years, as it is a great electrical insular and is highly heat-resistant.  It was used in such materials as siding and drywall mainly for its fireproof properties.

The asbestos fibers are especially dangerous because they are almost invisible and carry no odor.  If inhaled, they can cause serious respiratory issues, even many years later.  If you know or suspect that you have asbestos present in your building, schedule an asbestos inspection.
