Happy Veterans Day! We are so thankful for every single veteran, and for every sacrifice that they and their families have made. We are also proud of veterans that we work with every day. Owen Brown, a valuable member of our crew served. “Enlisted in the Jamaica Defence force at age 17 shortly after graduation I was stationed at the Second battalion Jamaica regiment (2jr) where I was rifle man at alpha company I served 2 years there after which I was transferred to the 1st Engineering battalion where I served 12 years as a class 2 engineer ended my army career at the rank of corporal.” Sage Woodward is a 23 year veteran who has served in the Marine Corps, Air Force, and Army, where he was a helicopter pilot.

Fire Truck Cleaning

Recently the top-notch crew from SERVPRO of Norwalk/Wilton stopped by the Monroe Fire Department to clean the interior of the fire trucks as part of their carcinogen management program to keep the firefighters safe. Dodi and her team always go above and beyond to show their care and appreciation for the volunteers.  The fire department was extremely grateful.  It was a fun afternoon where our crew was able to chat with the men and women on duty and learn more about them.  We can’t wait to do it again next year.
